The Director of Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies, was awarded Ph.D. for his thesis on “Perceived Usage of E-Banking Services in select Cities of Karnataka, A Strategic Approach.” M.Phil was awarded for a project Report on “An Empirical Study of Swarna Jyothi Grama Swarozgar Yojana of Kaveri Grameena Bank in Mysore District.” Dr. Vinay .S is a Research Supervisor, faculty of Commerce and Management in University of Mysore, he has more than 13 years of teaching and research experience. He has been a course instructor and content writer for MOOC's course for Swayam (UGC-CEC, New Delhi) on Goods and Services tax course with four credits, he has successfully completed the ARPIT course for Career Advancement Scheme (CAS), Refresher Course in Management and Research Methodology for Social Science Teachers. He teaches Accounting and Finance, Statistics and Research Methodology, his research areas are Banking, Finance and General Management. He has published more than 50 research articles in international and national journals. His achievements and recognitions include the following: best research paper award for the paper “Customer Acceptance of Millennial Generation Banking Services, Challenges and Prospects”, which was listed on SSRN’s top ten research papers list for PSN: “Financial Institutions”. Good number of H-index citations and Best Research Paper Award in conference: “Customer Performance towards Online Shopping - An Empirical Study in Mysore City” organized by 10 th convention of Federation of Teachers”.
