SRF facilitates and supports the Research culture among students and teachers in various disciplines and subjects. Financial assistance is given on the basis of proposals sent and based on the merit of the topic the research project is duly accepted and funded. A number of ongoing research projects reflect the Trust's vision and dedication towards promoting research and scholarly activities. The Research Foundation aims to encourage staff and students to pursue knowledge as a tool of empowering self and society.
The strength of a higher education is valued in terms of the quality of research and consulting carried out by its faculty and students. Research Foundation in an educational institution can play the role of an information provider, catalyst, facilitator and an agent catering to the needs of research aspirants. Research foundations need to add value to an institution as well as the society at large by rendering dependable data, which is, are generated by professional and socially conscious researchers.
Seshadripuram Research Foundation is the research wing of Seshadripuram Educational Trust. Along with coordinating the activities as a Ph.D. research centre, it motivates faculty to undertake research and consulting by being a facilitator. It also has a student research forum through which research culture is imbibed among students.
